The psychologist/counselorwill be responsible forproviding comprehensive psychological care, counseling services, andemotional support to international patients andtheir families in an international hospital in Beijing. This individual will work closely with physicians, nurses, andother healthcare professionals to provide patient-focused care andpromote overall wellbeing.
The psychologist/counselorwill play a vital role in supporting international patients andtheir families in a time of need. They will provide compassionate, professional care andpromote mental andemotional well-being in a unique anddynamic environment.
MAJorDUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES
1） Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, andtreatment plans forpatients andfamilies experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, depression, andother mental health challenges.
2） Offer counseling andtherapy services to patients andtheir families to help them cope with emotional issues andimprove their quality of life.
3） Develop andimplement strategies to support patients in adapting to cultural differences andadjusting to life in a new country.
4） Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to care.
5） Maintain accurate andup-to-date patient records, treatment plans, andprogress notes.
6） Educate patients andtheir families on mental health andwellbeing topics.
7） Provide crisis intervention andsupport in emergency situations.
8） Participate in staff meetings, training, andother hospital events as required. Delivering lecture andseminar when needed.
9） createpatient andstaff education programs focusing on issues related to mental health andWellbeing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1） Master’s orDoctorate degree in Clinical Psychology orCounseling froman accredited institution.
2） At least 3-5 years of experience working as a psychologist orcounselorin a hospital orclinical setting.
3） Credentials andlicenses to practice in China.
4） Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
5） Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
6） Strong communication, interpersonal, andorganizational skills.
7） Flexibility to work in a 24-hour hospital environment.
8） Knowledge andappreciation of diverse cultural backgrounds.
