DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES :
? Provide high quality medical andsurgical care to surgical in- andout-patients.
? Perform independent surgery on privileged cases in consultation with the CMO andthe Chief of GS.
? Work closely with the Chief of GS in supporting departmental goals.
? Perform daily patient rounds forhis/her own patients and/orother patients belongs to the surgical service according to the schedule proposed by the Chief of GS. Review subjective andobjective findings including labs, diagnostic testing, vital signs, wound status, anddrains.
? Provides patient education related to procedures, medications, therapeutic goals, etc.
? Meet standards of professional conduct andcourtesy.
? Appropriate code, document andsubmit charges in a timely manner, establish andmaintain records, reports andstatistical data.
? Equally share call/coverage duties with surgical colleagues to insure JIH has 24 hours’ surgical coverage.
? Collaborate with other consultants in the establishment of diagnoses andtreatments of therapies anddischarge needs both in the inpatient andoutpatient setting, Assist other consultants on surgical cases when necessary.
? Work at maintaining a good anda cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments andthe other hospital staff.
? Work on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other surgical team members andCMO.
? Provide administrative support andcommittee assignments as requested.
? Participate in fellow training when requested.
? Attend MAO-physician meeting, departmental meeting, grandround, committee meetings andCEO meeting when asked for.
? Be responsible forown working hours andarrangement of the annual leave.
? Daily inpatient ward round forhis/her own patients.
? Meet Standards of professional conduct andcourtesy.

EXPERIENCES, SKILLS andABILITIES：
? Completed degree fromandaccredited Chinese orinternational medical university.
? Completed full training in general surgery in andaccredited training program either in China orabroad.
? At lease 3-5 years’ clinical surgical experience.
