【基本情况】芜湖市第四人民医院（芜湖市精神病医院）创建于1969年，坐落在芜湖市弋江区乌霞山东路，是集医疗、预防、教学、科研、康复于一体的三级甲等精神病专科医院。占地面积8万平方米（包括芜湖院区与南陵院区），建筑面积5.2万平方米，开放床位1688张。医院是安徽省第二精神卫生专科联盟牵头单位，是安徽省医师协会精神科医师分会、芜湖市心理学会、芜湖市睡眠研究会、芜湖市医学会精神科分会、安徽省心理学会临床与咨询心理学分会、芜湖市心理卫生协会、芜湖市精神卫生指导中心的挂靠单位。精神科是安徽省十四五临床重点专科，2014年获批芜湖市第二批“5111”创新团队。普通精神科、睡眠医学科、情感障碍科、老年精神科、临床心理科是芜湖市“十四五”医学重点专科。医院作为全省唯一精神卫生专科医院参与全国精神卫生综合管理试点城市和全国社会心理服务体系建设，成绩显著。在全国首次三级公立医院绩效考核中，位列全国精神专科医院第15名。2022年7月，医院与首都医科大学附属北京安定医院合作共建国家区域医疗中心。



【人员结构】现有专业技术人员606人，其中，高级职称专业人员53人、教授32人、博士2人、硕士研究生43人、硕士生导师17人。



【医疗技术】医院技术力量雄厚，设有精神科、临床心理科、精神病康复科、儿童青少年科、老年精神病科、睡眠医学科、成瘾医学科、精神病司法鉴定科、情感障碍科、心理危机干预中心等专业科室。其中，急性病区7个、康复病区5个，老年病区、心理病区、儿少病区、睡眠医学与成瘾医学病区各1个。开展了精神分裂症、情感障碍、药物与酒依赖、睡眠障碍与神经症、进食障碍、儿童、青少年与老年精神医学、精神康复、心理治疗、心理咨询与评估、心理危机研究与干预、精神疾病司法鉴定等10余个特色诊疗项目。



【教学科研】医院是蚌埠医学院、上海交大Bio-X中心的附属医院，安徽医科大学、安徽中医药大学、皖南医学院、安徽师范大学等多所高校的教学医院，也是皖南医学院、蚌埠医学院的硕士生培养单位。在前进的过程中，医院始终坚持科教兴院、人才强院战略，自2014年起多人先后被派遣往意大利、德国、美国、英国、爱尔兰、新加坡等国交流、深造。医院也于2006年开始与上海交大、美国哥伦比亚大学、英国阿伯丁大学合作，进行精神分裂症基因遗传学研究，于2010年创立“中科院贺林院士工作室”，2012年经省科技厅批准成为安徽省首个专科“院士工作站”，2020年又成立贺林院士新医学合作示范基地。2021年，医院与上海市精神卫生中心合作共建“长三角精神心理创新团队”，开展医教研的全方位合作。目前，医院已完成国家863课题2项、国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、国家重点研发计划1项。承担国际合作科研课题1项，省级科研课题4项，市级科研课题29项。申报完成实用新型专利30项，外观专利10项，获安徽省科学技术及科技创新奖3项、省级科技成果登记9项。



【社会公益】医院多年来与消防、公安、高校、社会团体、企事业单位等50余家单位开展合作，先后建立心理咨询师培训与实习基地、高校学生心理健康援助中心、妇女儿童家庭婚姻咨询中心、征兵心理检测培训与指导中心、芜湖市心理救援中心、开设芜湖市心理热线，2023年5月挂牌成立芜湖市儿童青少年心理健康服务中心，为促进百姓心理健康、构建和谐社会做出了重大的贡献！
