DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES:
61 Examines, diagnoses, andtreats acute andchronic diseases andinjuries of infants andchildren intoyoung adulthood in both the inpatient andoutpatient setting.
61 Prepares andreviews case histories andobtains data through interviews. Examines patients anddetermines x-ray examinations andclinical laboratory tests required.
61 Interprets test results andevaluates examination findings. Conducts ward rounds andprescribes therapy. Administers andprescribes treatment such as antibiotics, drugs, andcompresses.
61 Determines need forandassists in specialized medical care andtreatment. May be granted additional privileges based on documented proficiency
61 Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee.
61 Works on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other pediatricians andDepartment Chairperson.
61 Will work closely with the Department Chairperson in supporting departmental goals.
61 May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultation with Department Chairperson.
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS andABILITIES
61 Board Certified/Board Eligible （orequivalent） in Pediatrics.
61 Doctorof medicine degree froman approved school of medicine.
61 Completion of residency training in Pediatrics at a hospital andprogram acceptable to the Departmental Chairperson andChief Medical Officer.
61 Minimum5 years’ experience post-residency in the clinical arena preferred.
61 Fluent Chinese required, andgood English preferred.
