Summarize the nature andlevel of work performed:
1. Preceptor, mentorforstaff nurses andnursing students to provide personalized andcost effective care to the patient in accordance to established hospital policies andprocedures.
2. Assist nurse manager to provide the highest standard of patient-centered care.
3. Operates froma deep understanding of the total situation. Collaborates with other care providers to challenge andcoordinate institutional resources to maximize advocacy forpatient andfamily care in achieving the most effective outcomes.
Patient Care: Interpersonal engagement andconnection with the patient and/orfamily.
1. Assess plan, implement andevaluate the nursing care of patients throughout the hospitalization.
2. Document accurately andconcisely the care provided andits outcome.
3. Carry out investigation andtreatment prescribed by the physician.
4. Communicate anddiscuss patient’s response to treatment andprogress with physician andnursing colleagues assigned to patient.
5. Participate actively in physician’s round.
6. Prepare andassist physician with procedures.
7. Collaborate andco-operate with physicians andother health care providers in the smooth delivery of patient care andservice.
8. Follow - up to ensure continuity of patient care andtreatment plan.
9. Deliver safe andcompetent nursing care.
10. Demonstrate clinical skills, knowledge andcritical thinking in the delivery of patient care.
11. Provide patient / family information andeducation on disease prevention, process andrehabilitation.
12. Manage complex patient care in critical care area.
13. Maintain andcare in the useof the equipment andsupplies.

1. Modify interventions based on a deep understanding of patient andfamily needs attained through past experiences.
