Job Summary：
The nursing manager is responsible forplanning, co-coordinating, managing andevaluating patient care services, operational activities andresource utilization in an assigned clinic/center/unit. The Head nurse works in close collaboration with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, to provide optimal care andservice, to meet patient needs andexpectations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
? Supports andcommunicates the objectives, goals, andprocedures to all staff in the clinic/center/unit.
? Assists Business Manager in monitoring resource utilization of staff, equipment, supplies, operating andcapital budget, andinsures their efficient andeffective use.
? Allocates staff, equipment, supplies, andassures adequacy of resources to meet operational standards andrequirements.
? Assists Business Manager in completing the schedules forall nursing andsupport staff. Assigns work andduties forall shifts based on patient needs andoperational requirements. Assist the business Manager in managing, tracking andmaintaining record of leave schedules of all staff.
? Monitors the patient flow in the clinic. Assists with the efficient utilization of consultation rooms. Checks that movements of all patients are updated timely intothe computer system.
? Observes, supervises andevaluates team members performing nursing procedures, working with team members when necessary to ascertain level of proficiency, ensuring care is adequate andaccurate.
Qualifications:
? ?Graduate of a professional School of Nursing .Graduates in other health care related areas will be considered.
? Possesses a post-graduate advanced qualification in a nursing specialty ormanagement.
? Good English skills, both verbal andwritten Conversant English; Fluent Mandarin Chinese.
? Minimum 6 years direct experience in direct patient care related areas in a hospital with at least 400 beds and2 years in a management role.
? Demonstrated capabilities in managing, leading andteaching in practice settings.
